Murphy Motel Rooms

No mirror in the room and pillows was flat otherwise good not a deal breaker

staff was very sweet and made us feel right at home the owner actually gave me bracelets

Location. Relatively clean... was a little stuffy at first but aired out well.

Location and the room was clean, the only .drawback was no heat in the room. Only AC and this is North Carolina and not Florida.

Although they don't have breakfast, but there are plenty of places to eat in town, we were able to get some rest and slept. I rarely get any sleep the first night in a motel, but we will be back.

Neat and clean.Only a short distance to town. The people who operate it are nice people and very pleasant.

Easy access and good for one night. Room is spacious.

Staff was friendly and informative. Location was close to event. Parking right at room was great! Air conditioning was fine.

I didn't like nothing at all somehow the fire alarm went off and we was blamed for it so they charge me $250.00 dollars and we ws told to leave The premises so no I don't like the place and it's a Rip off... ???

This motel is a very basic, older motel BUT the rooms (we stayed in two, due to unexpected 2nd night) were very clean, there has been some remodeling (tile floors, newer vanity, etc.), the beds were comfortable, and the staff very helpful and kind.

Quiet away from all the people and business

It was very clean! Man that I assume owns it, was super friendly and when he saw us, came up to ask if we needed anything, when we were leaving he welcomed us to come back anytime. PERSONALLY! You do not get that with a big motel. Loved the personal touch!

Bed was very comfortable and the shower had great water pressure with plenty of hot water.

The staff is just super sweet and very understanding. The room was super clean as well as the bathroom, if you needed maid service it was available for whenever you needed it. They do not bombard you unless you need something but for the most part you are left alone (which should be most hotels). My significant other was traveling from out of town and Murphy Motel was the great place to stay not to far from town as well as other things to do.
